Q: Is Relational Energy Healing the same as Reiki?
A: No. Reiki is a specialized form of energy healing work, where you are taught certain techniques passed on to you by a “Reiki Master”. Reiki is not therapeutic nor developmental work with the chakra system.
Q: What exactly is “Relational” Energy Healing?
A: It’s a term to describe the use of three different energy healing skills used together: 1) Interacting directly with the etheric energy body in order to improve functioning and health; 2) Astral energy work, to clear away hidden influences upon us from the unseen spirit worlds; 3) Therapeutically working through personal challenges so that you can use them to evolve at a personal, relational, or a spiritual level. “Relational” refers to the necessity of enhancing or clearing any energetic relationship in order to evolve ourselves.
Q: What is the aura?
A: The aura is the field of bio-energy consciousness that surrounds and interpenetrates all living beings. As human beings become more conscious we begin to perceive reality beyond the normal range of our everyday senses. We may even begin to want more from our lives. The Aura (or auric field) contains the imprint of our past, and our potential for further personal or spiritual evolution.
Q: What are Chakras?
A: Chakras are a vital part of our consciousness “hardware”. Originally discovered in ancient India and China these non-visible energy centers organize both physiological and psycho-emotional functioning in human beings. Trained energy healers perceive them as wheels of light, or vortexes of energy that run the length of the body. Relational Energy Healers follow the ancient yogic insight that the chakras resemble flowers with a vibrant center (to receive or emit relational energy cords) and several “petals”.

Q:What is a “relational” energy field?
A: The Relational Energy Field is the energetic template of how we relate to and perceive other individuals. Relational Energy work is a process that supports personal and interpersonal transformation through the healing of our relationships. I think we would all agree that human beings are profoundly relational creatures. Since higher personal levels of development are reflected in and transformed by a client’s auric body, a relational energy healing process consists of in-depth work on the energy psychology of chakra development, work with chakra cords, Pranic or Qi transmission, and the clearing of Astral energies.
Q: Are Skype (or telephone sessions) as effective as in-person sessions?
A: For the vast majority of people the answer is yes! Just as your mobile phone connects you with friends and family across the planet so psychic energy healing does not need to be in-person. Dean uses the information supplied by you via email prior to the session, along with recent photographs, to psychically “tune” into you, and to be able to direct energy healing into your system. Additionally, many people feel safer by receiving energy work in the comfort and convenience of their own home. Dean’s private practice is international: mostly via Skype video conferencing, and by telephone sessions.
Q: I want to design my own web site. Who created this web site?
A: This is a WordPress CMS site running a modified premium WordPress Theme from Jason Bobich (“Theme Blvd”) of www.jasonbobich.com. Dean highly recommends all of Mr Bobich’s WordPress Themes. This web site is “responsive”, which means it is designed to be viewed on computers and most mobile platforms (such as the iPad, iPhone, Android, and other smartphones).
Q: I live too far away from a healing school, but I really want to learn more. What do you suggest?
A: Dean offers video conferencing tutorial sessions that are personalized for you, and for your level of development as a healer, or student healer. Dean also offers audio recordings for sale. Books on energy healing and personal transformation are a great start, but can only take you so far. Training and mentoring are essential for your advancement in this field of work. Follow your intuition, study a lot, and watch yourself grow and evolve as a healer.
Q: How do I pay for a session?
A: Before each session Dean will send you a PayPal bill, with which you can pay using your bank account, or your credit card. If you prefer to pay in cash you can send it via Western Union. Please note that all Dean’s sessions are pre-paid.

Q: Where is Dean located?
A: Dean lives in the city of Kota Kinabalu, on the northern tip of Malaysian Borneo. Borneo is a huge island in South East Asia. It is next door to The Philippines and across the sea from Thailand.
