But the auric energy body exists within – and outside of – a rational time line. Our true nature lies beyond the physical world, while simultaneously being integrated into the physical world. If the physical body is compared to a computer, the auric energy body is the computer user: separate, and yet connected.

Because it is multidimensional, the auric energy body has a more complex nature than the physical body, with a different relationship to linear time. Auric energy healing requires a sequencing of healing work in order for it to be truly effective; it does not rely on one simple event, or single surgical “operation”. In the physical world, a medical operation will remove a damaged part and close up the wound, thereby allowing the natural healing process to begin. But with auric energy healing it is the consciousness of the client themselves that evolves, from a lower stage towards a higher stage. Any development of consciousness requires time in order for specific stages to be fully completed. Time is also needed for the acceptance of what is true, which only then can lead to a sustainable internal shift in the self. This includes a change in the client perception of the problem itself. In other words, time plus integration of specific stages of development equals transformation of consciousness.

This is why I utilize the Six Session Series, a format for working with my clients which allows each healing session to build upon the gains of the previous one. So, what happens?

I will begin each Six Session Series by clearing and strengthening the client’s auric boundary, then moving on to enhancing their legs and feet into the local earth energies beneath them. The vital connections to Mother Earth – especially the chakra relational cord that connects us to the center of the living planet – are enhanced. Then, with this foundation energy flow in place, the client gains the prana and containment of energy that allows for specific chakra cord repair, and for astral clearing work.

The chakra cord work is only begun after the client and I have dialoged about the personal and health issues that now bring them to seek healing work. This dialog is an essential part of the process, almost equal to the energy work itself. Bringing consciousness to the client’s issue helps activate the necessary internal support that can be pivotal to their journey.

My assumption is always that my client is in the process of soul evolution: that they are facing the very challenge that can evoke growth (evolution) or healing (release of an incomplete growth stage.) Healing only has relevance if it puts the client back on track for their personal evolution. Of course energy healing should take people out of pain and anxiety, but it should not be minimized as a “complementary” health treatment.

The energy healer’s task is to help re-boot the client’s stuck “operating system”, so they can move on with their development. Chakra cord work can help clear away the numbed feelings, the suppressed emotion, the mistakes in emotional connection that we all make, and can reset the auric consciousness system back into a place where it can resume growth. We don’t need to bring everything into a rational, everyday consciousness state in order to do this. We only need to support the natural functioning of the auric consciousness system, and let it do its job. Shock, trauma, denial … all these things both stimulate and interrupt the natural growth process. Energy healing works towards resuming the forward momentum towards personal and soul development. While the soul is grateful for the learning process it must also learn to shed the toxic residue left by this same learning process.

The final week of any Six Session Series will include energy work with the upper chakras: Talu, Bindu, Agnya (Ajna), Crown, and the Guru chakras. By enhancing the flows and the connections we have with these higher centers we can come to understand many of the problems we struggle with, but in a new light. Insight is not just the gaining of a rational understanding; it is the connection formed from our everyday mind to our higher self.

This sequencing of Six Sessions (Auric container, Earth connections, chakra and chakra cord development, Astral clearing, upper chakra functioning) can loop again and again, each time differently deepening the overall process for the client. Always we will return to the auric boundary, to our supportive connections into the earth, to our relational cords, and to our growing awareness of our higher nature. Some of my clients have their Six Session Series back-to-back, preferring a sustained growing process, while others take a few weeks between one Six Session Series and the next one. The timing must come from within. Then, just as when we cross a river by hopping over the rocks already sitting in the stream, we can pass each developmental obstacle effectively. Healing (i.e., repair work) is only needed when we slip off a rock and almost fall into the raging river below. Evolutionary growth occurs when we make it to the other side, after having grown into our full potential during the journey. When we arrive at the end of our journey, we find ourselves as both material and energy consciousness. We find ourselves whole.

Opening The Third Eye

Spirituality

Chakras

Personal Development
<guid

The domination of duality (the unconscious acceptance that our lives are always a choice between two polar opposites) over our consciousness must eventually be supplanted by an experience of the multiple dimensions of reality.

Most people are content to accept the commonly-held views of reality as presented and reinforced by popular media such as TV news programs, movies, and books. Our early schooling teaches a simple or childlike view of the world that often extends, unexamined, into adulthood. It will take third eye chakra development in order to see past what we are told is true, and to make our own evaluation. But growing Agnya chakra takes effort. A lot of it.

One way to develop your third eye is to ask the right questions. Agnya chakra development is supported when the young child confronts a parent or teacher with “Who are you to tell me who I am, and what I should think?” Every parent has to deal with challenges, hopefully by responding in a kind, but firm manner, and being careful not to crush the youthful spirit before them. Similar questions will reappear ten years later, fueled by the raging hormones of the young adult. But beneath these two developmental stages – the infant rebellion and the teenage confrontation with authority – the inner third eye is beginning to open. Development self-enquiry is beginning.

No one can tell us who we are, at our fundamental identity. Others can only tell us who they want us to be, or who they think we should become. Yes, others can see our potential, and can provide much-needed support. But, ultimately, our true self is discovered by it seeing itself: through self-enquiry, self-development, and through the transforming fire of our personal relationships. These three factors provide the most wonderful (although often painful) opportunities, and will bring us the tools t0 break free of the tyranny of the common reality.

The process of questioning the outer authority must eventually evolve into the enquiry of who you think you are, or who you have been told you are. As adults we will soon come to learn that we have little power to influence others, or to shift events in the outer world. But we do have tremendous power to change ourselves. The doorway to personal freedom opens when we learn how to develop ourselves, and to come to see what is meaningful in life though our own efforts. Once you are engaged in the adult journey of questioning the self everything begins to change.

The key that unlocks the door of personal and spiritual development is to ask the right questions, and in doing so to develop Agnya chakra. Without a functioning third eye we will remain blind to all spiritual depth, and mired in the dull flatness of polar opposites. Strive to open your third eye. Don’t settle only for the constructed reality offered to you by others. Learn to see the truth for yourself.

Astral World Basics

Healing Skills

Astral

Energy Healing

Personal Development
<guid

These are usually fears and beliefs that we bring with us from childhood, or that we inherit from popular culture. The Astral world is dimensionally different from our everyday, three-dimensional and material world. It exists within a fourth spatial dimension, and is home to multiple species of non-physical beings. Some of these beings have learned how to interact with our physical world. We usually refer to them as spirits, ghosts, angels, or demons.
<p

Sorcererers, witches, priests and shamans have learned how to interact with these invisible realms. The modern-day energy healer will often come across Astral people or objects that have become attached to the etheric structure of a client’s energy body.

The Astral world is not always a toxic or evil influence. In actual fact, my current assumption is that the Astral world has always co-existed alongside our world, playing a major and beneficial part in the physical evolutionary process. In many ways, the Astral world may be the sentient yin to the material world’s yang: it is receptive and fluid in contrast to the structured boundaries and natural laws built into a material universe.

When an energy healer comes across Astral phenomena she may welcome such an interaction as an important entry point into understanding the client’s development, at a level deeper than the human personality. Astral influences often connect the client more clearly to their identity as a soul: our true nature as an energetic conscious being unlimited by physical death, unrestrained by organic entropy. Despite our eventual death as a body our soul nature absorbs all of our life lessons, in order to evolve.

I see the Astral realm as a vital partner in our ongoing soul development, rather than a hindrance to it. To work with the Astral is to work with the forces that help develop soul growth because when we work with spirits or Astral energies, we are breaking out of the restrictions placed upon us by our short and limited physical life span. We are touching deeply into spiritual immortality, as our identity dissolves and reforms constantly across the time line.

Unexpected interactions with the Astral world can occur during any life-threatening event (such as a Near Death Experience), any form of trance-inducing spiritual ritual, or under the influence of psychotropic drugs (Ayahuasca, Peyote, Psilocybin mushrooms, etc.) But it is more commonly experienced in the dream state: either sleeping or the waking or hypnogogic state of consciousness. In contrast, the psychic healer learns to interact with the Astral while remaining in the waking state, which resembles a form of healing trance to the outside person. The energy healer acts as an organic bridge between the material world, the etheric world, and the Astral realms. This bridge allows for personal growth to occur by the healer supporting a shift in an individual’s perception of themselves, and of the nature of the world around them. When such a shift of perception occurs the old way of seeing “reality” will fade away, and a new and more integrated reality will supersede it. The observer will change or – more accurately – begin to remember their higher spiritual perception.

When that happens – the remembrance of your true nature – everything in your life will begin to change. You will awaken to new possibilities, and become aware of multiple hidden influences upon your life. With this experience you can begin to take charge of your life, rather than be a spectator to it. This changes everything.

Working With Heritage Chakra Cords

Relational Energy Healing Service

Relationships

Chakra Cords

Personal Development

Relational Healing
<guid

As we all know, relationships require some effort in order to make them work well. But the Western way of improving relationships via a psychotherapeutic personal process is relatively new to society.

Prior to the advent of the 1960’s and 1970’s relationships had models (assumed frameworks) within which individuals could pattern themselves. Adults aligning themselves with the excepted social relationship pattern of the day (the “traditional” marriage) and then would be carried along various stages over the course of a lifetime: courtship, marriage, mortgage, children, and finally retirement. As these generational-specific social patterns have eroded over the past thirty years (resulting in high rates of divorce and family breakups) the psychotherapy model heroically stepped in to save the day. “Look at your issues”, said the psychotherapists, “and let us show you how to work through any problem in your relationships.”

Heritage chakra cords with layers, each associated with an ancestor

But one problem with this approach is that most people want others to change; very few people want to embrace significant change for themselves, or to engage in what one psychotherapist termed “The hard-work miracle”: personal development. Additionally, change is not the act of simply changing our minds and then making a new choice; many of the patterns in our relationships flow from a source other than our personal history. The apparent power that our relationship patterns have in our lives is strongly embedded and reinforced in our habitual actions. To the energy healer, these forces flow along chakra cords and are fueled by heritage-based Astral thought forms. To the energy healer your relationship issue may not be your issue: it may be a heritage/DNA one, fueled by hidden Astral energies.

Layered within each chakra cord lies your heritage habits, like growth rings on a tree, where your family patterns will await the right time and circumstances to become active in your life. When triggered, these family patterns attract a series of events or individuals into your life as a way to perpetuate their particular pattern. These repeating family dynamics are often masked from sight because they may skip a generation. Your personal life issues are most likely variations on your grandmother’s or grandfathers challenges, either maternal or paternal. In order to get to your personal development you have to peel away – and resolve – your family “karma”. This is always easier said, of course, than done.

While I am a big fan of psychotherapy as an essential tool to process our personal and relationship issues I feel more tools are needed on our transformational journey through life. We often need to clear away the energetic patterning of our ancestors so we can see the new choices available beyond our heritage habits. Clearing DNA/heritage patterns from the auric field is arguably more important than a past life healing as heritage issues are eternally present to our consciousness system, whereas past life issues are most often traumatic events left unresolved in the astral component of the auric field. Of course it is important to work through any incomplete death or unresolved life, but heritage/DNA cord work is usually far closer to home. It lives in each human cell, in real time, supported by memories held in both the physical and the auric field.

If there is a regular sequence my clients follow it is this: triage (get out of immediate danger), healing (resolve shock or trauma to the energy system, and then return to the pre-trauma developmental state), reflexive personal process (learning to work through adult personal challenges in an effective way), and then to glimpse new opportunities, which is followed by improved relationships and other events that take your life to a new and improved level. One of the keys to moving through this sequence is the awareness and clearing of heritage patterns. Think of it as a jump out of your usual outcome, and into a new evolutionary stream of development.

So, what if your relationship issues were not only your issues? How would it change things for you, to know that you were acting upon the unsolved relationship dynamics of your ancestors?

Guru Chakra

Relational Energy Healing Service

Chakras

Personal Development

Relational Healing
<guid

While there are esoteric systems that do work with the highest chakras I tend mostly towards focussing on the health and healing of infant mind chakras (Muladhara to Manipura) and the adult mind chakras (Anahata to Agnya). But there is one higher chakra that figures prominently in Relational Energy Healing sessions: the Guru chakra.

My reasons for working with this chakra are practical rather than metaphysical. I find that tremendous value is added to the overall effectiveness of my sessions with clients when (usually at the end of a Six Session Series) I encourage the etheric connections of the Guru chakra to deepen into the energetic structure of the brain, and the other chakras. The idea is to strengthen the higher nature of my client with that of their present personality: to bridge everyday consciousness with the client’s soul identity.

This can be helpful in many ways, one of which is to create greater meaning in the client’s life so as to help explain some of the challenges he or she is currently facing. Another is to deepen the acceptance of their spiritual nature, and support their search for gaining higher states of consciousness.

The Guru chakra (in the Relational Energy Healing system) is located about two inches above the head, hovering just above the Crown chakra. It is a tiny chakra, resembling an ovoid or torus shape, and seems to function as a doorway into the soul wisdom of each person. When we are born, the Crown chakra coincides with the anterior fontanel, or “soft spot”, and the Guru chakra “downloads” information into the developing brain by utilizing this physical and energetic opening. At death, our consciousness departs up through this same opening, traveling up the “tunnel of light” (Sushumna, which follows the path of the spinal cord) and into the “doorway filled with light” (Guru chakra).

Personal and spiritual growth does not only come from a mental understanding our lives; it also comes to us unbidden … through grace, or via serendipitous insight. Such changes or shifts in consciousness can flow to us more easily when the Guru chakra is energized or activated (traditionally this is done via the efforts – or presence – of an initiated spiritual teacher). Whatever activates the trigger, either a spiritual teacher or your energy healer, having the support of our higher nature can only be a good thing. Inviting connections from the Guru chakra into the energetic brain and chakra centers adds positive impetus to our journey of awakening, and towards transformation. When we are ready, the Guru chakra will help show us our path.

That is because the Guru chakra is, fundamentally, our own higher nature.

Effective Results And Energy Healing

Healing Skills

Energy Healing Skills

Personal Development

Chakra Clearing

But there are also limitations in choosing a Level Two healer, due to the reality that deep personal growth only takes place over time. Any certificate of training will not guarantee the effectiveness of the healer; it will only verify that they have finished their course of study. Because an energy healer is channeling life force (prana) via the vehicle of their own consciousness system, the quality of that prana is always dependent upon the depth of personal growth of that healer. They cannot pass on to you what they have not attained for themselves. When you receive a healing from a newly-minted energy healer graduate it will be noticeably different by that offered by an experienced healer: one who is at Level Three or Level Four. All maturity needs life experience, and there is no substitute.

The main problem of our modern society (2010) is that the cognitive apprenticeship method – ideal for training energy healers – is so hard to find, partly due to an explosion of simplistic energy healing methods that jockey for prominence in the eyes of the public. Just as digital film making has replaced real movie scenery with computer-generated fantasies, modern energy healing styles attempts to replace the trained healer (Levels Two-Four) with the uninitiated healer (Level One), to pass them off as equal in value.

In the end the touchstone in any professional field is that the work leads to effective and sustainable results. Energy healing is just another form of massage unless it deeply affects the consciousness of the client, and provides a definite change in the feeling body, and in the physical body. A Level One healer can produce such shifts … but they will usually not be sustainable, nor may they lead to deep personal growth. Like a flat battery getting a cable boost from a stronger car battery, the client’s energetic “engine” will start. But such results often fade with time, because the underlying structural problems have not been addressed. Simplistic energy healing work can be palliative, but not curative.

By contrast, experienced and trained energy healers offer long-term strategies to their clients, providing both immediate change and sustainable growth.

If you have already received a Level One healing you may have become disappointed that the results did not sustain over time, or that nothing really changed for you. You may have lost confidence in the field of spiritual or energy healing. I do encourage you to try again, this time by finding an experienced and trained practitioner. Even better, try several different healers and energy healing styles, until you find one that works really well for you. Invest your time and hard-earned money in your personal development; it affects everything of importance in your life. You will know you have found an effective healer when you start moving in the right direction in your life … and you keep on going. Again, it will take time, but one day you will become a new person, the person you were always meant to become in this lifetime. And you will never look back.

Invasive Chakra Cords

Relational Energy Healing Service

Relationships

Chakra Cords

Personal Development

Relational Healing
<guid

While there are multiple influences upon the development of our everyday personality when we have been energetically invaded by another (or even by a group consciousness) we are being unknowingly dominated by the other. The creative power of the human mind is such that the wiring of energetic connection can be used in relationally predatory ways that are detrimental to our well being, and to our personal and spiritual development.

Three common symptoms of invasive chakra cord are numbing, habitual usage (resignation), and the active denial of a truth.

1. Numbing: When an invasive cord attaches to the head of the chakra it resembles a fish hook or a cord with suckers at its terminus. Like the insect bite it resembles this cord will numb the chakra, thereby restricting its natural functioning. As an example, with an invasive cord in Swadhisthana (Second) Chakra an individual will experience reduced tactile feeling in their animal (sensual) body, as well as possible immune system compromises.

2. Habitual Usage (Resignation): Some invasive cords have been with an individual most of their lives, possible put in place by a parent or other caretaker. The invasion effects (energy drain, lack of freedom or personal development experienced in adulthood) are now considered inevitable or karmic by that person: the individual simply cannot imaging a life without being controlled, or drained.

3. Active Denial: One of the major hurdles in personal development work is the psycho-emotional structures that support denial in our lives. The truth of our situation can be clearly seen by another who is outside of any denial system, but those within the system will actively work to refuse to acknowledge what is really going on. Invasive cords that support denial are often group (shared identity) cords; everyone in the family or group agrees to agree on the same view of reality. This type of networked cord system commonly supports political propaganda, for instance, or efforts that are designed to keep our attention from wandering where it really should go; to the discovery of an important truth.

Removing invasive chakra cords should bring significant results into an individuals life, usually in the form of increased energy, more awareness about the life issue the cord represents, and individual freedom of choice. It is also essential for spiritual development of all kinds, as we must be free to grow in our own direction and not be induced to support the agenda of others. Once the cord is removed the chakra will begin the return to its natural and healthy state, slowly improving the mental and emotional lives of the former victim. They will resume their spiritual evolution, now unfettered by the outside influence.

Invasive cords are those that most energy healers will intuitively attempt to “cut”. But my preference is to remove the invasive cord at its terminus, rather than attempt to traumatize the energy body even further with “cutting” techniques. After cord removal an individual will have much more prana available for their energy system, which is now available for satisfying life pursuits, relationships, or personal and spiritual evolution.

<span

Western medicine doesn’t recognize the spiritual dimension of healing unless the medical practitioner also happens to be someone interested in personal development, or healing work. But while these two end results – enhanced physical healing and spiritual reconnection – are essential elements in all energy healing work, I have come to appreciate one more thing it offers to us: spiritual freedom.

We are energy beings incarnated into a physical body. So the question is: why do it? What is the endgame of such a tremendous endeavor: the pouring of our multiple-frequency spiritual identity into low density matter? After all, higher-dimensional beings such as Angels are reportedly quite happy, as Baroque Angel paintings show. So, what do incarnating humans hope to achieve that can go beyond what the Angelic higher realms already offer?

Perhaps the answer lies in our desire to embrace a spiritual freedom. Freedom to create, freedom to explore, freedom to express all sides of the universal manifest reality. And the freedom to make mistakes. Lots of them. Even though such a freedom will bring with it loss, and release from old ways of being. More than one golden childhood will be lost to us in our lifetime.

Energy Healing can support spiritual freedom when it floods our undeveloped or traumatized systems with fresh and novel energy that leads us into becoming aware of things in a new way. It supports us in being willing to face ourselves – and the world in which we live – through a radically different perspective. Trained Energy Healing is the transfer of prana, and when this life force passes from healer to client it can be with the higher intention to awaken or support personal development in the other. This intention can help the client begin to question the fundamental assumptions of their problem, rather than to settle for an easy answer.

Freedom always questions authority. Freedom must never assume we (or another) have all the answers. Authoritarian control systems, whether internal ones (our critical voice within) or external ones (any political system) want us to take their answers, and their conclusions, at face value. These control systems tell us we are right when we accept their motives, their goals, their agendas. But inner and outer control systems have a vested interest in us remaining asleep, unconscious, repetitiously running on the same hamster wheel of denial. Good for them, but not so good for us.

Which means we have to start learning how to ask the right questions again, just like the inquisitive children we once were. We have to start thinking again, and thinking is hard work. But Energy Healing can direct the energetic consciousness of transformation to flow into those parts of our psyche, our feelings, and our body, that unconsciously resist recognizing meaningful truth. The truth we resist is like helium inflating a balloon; when it flows it enables us to fly. Only by facing the raw, uncensored truth about our lives can we ever choose to change, and to evolve ourselves. Our inner Baroque Angel may find itself evolving into something even more magnificent: a free human being.

Then we can really fly.

Chakra Self Cords: Anchoring Experience Of The Other Into The Self

Healing Skills

Chakra Cords

Energy Healing Skills

The Barbara Brennan School Of Healing
<guid

At the time I was working with several clients in my healing practice who were struggling with releasing challenging relationships. I had become specialized in chakra cord clearing in combination with Astral Healing after I had resigned from my position of PS 2 Class Dean at The Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Miami, Florida. But, I was become increasingly discouraged in relying upon the BBSH approach to the healing of early shock and trauma, and I was looking for an alternative to harsh or confrontational methods.

Then, in the midst of an energy healing session, my spirit helper had nudged me and pointed at the chakra cord I was cleaning. “There, you see those thin branches sprouting out of the relational cord going towards her mother? They root back into the chakra, and anchor the experience of “Mother” into her auric system. Try gently pulling them back towards the head of the chakra. See what happens when you do so.”

I had tried to take hold of these newly-discovered branching cords but they were, indeed, tiny and extremely delicate. It took a few more healing sessions before I had learned how to take hold of each fragile “self-cord” and gently move them into contact with the outer edge of the chakra. Then I watched as, like a magnet attaching to metal, the self-cord automatically attached itself into the chakra, and stayed in place. At least, most of the time. Sometimes they just sprang back to their former position, of hanging out next to their host cord.

Self Cords emerging from Chakra Cord

But I persisted in learning this new skill, and I’m glad I did. The positive results of self-cord work have been reported back to me from my clients over the past six years. Self-cord attachment has become a vital part of my healing work: the energetic anchoring of “the experience of the other” into the auric consciousness system. These days – and without dramatic catharsis – many of my clients make slow, steady, but significant shifts in their perception of themselves as individuated beings.

With this particular relational energy healing skill, nice and easy does it. Of course catharsis can be helpful in certain cases of repressed expression, but it is not essential for all stages of our personal growth work. Growing a stable connection to the self is essential to us all, and self-cord work can help that process.

Four Levels Of Energy Healing

Healing Skills

Energy Healing Skills

Energy Healing Training Program

Personal Development

levels of ability – and competence – for Energy Healers, as there are in every professional discipline. On this website I use the term Level One of energy healing to refer to new healers (or healers-in-training) who currently offer a generalized “aura balancing”, or simple transmission of energy. Many briefly-trained (or even untrained) healers are able to intuitively connect their energy system into that of another, encouraging change in their clients to occur.

The intention and focusing abilities that the individual Level One healer brings to their healing work improves upon this process: an energy healing with a receptive “client” and intuitive “healer”. Assuming that the healer has a stronger energy field than the client, the other will be energized by this process, as well as gain increased mental clarity and a sense of well-being.

The Level Two energy healer refers to someone who has been trained in useful healing skills, such as Qi Gong, Craniosacral Therapy, or who are a graduate of an in-depth energy healing school. Undergoing a long-term training to be able to practice specific skills increases the strength and frequency width of pranic energies able to flow through the trained healer, and hence into the energy field of their client. The results obtained by Level Two healing skills are then verified through professional experience: in other words, consistent results should be expected from any Level Two healer. For instance, if I have learned a healing skill that energizes the Lower Dantien in my Qi Gong training I can expect my clients to experience a certain effect when I apply that skill, in this case an increased grounding of the client into her physical body. The two hallmarks of the Level Two healer are effectiveness, and having undergone a certified training.

<a
