Cleaning your energy field

How’s your New Year’s resolution going? Hopefully you are losing that little extra weight, or whatever you chose to lose. We all agree that physical maintenance is important but what about your pranic, or energy, maintenance? Here are some tried-and-true energy healing methods to remove old and clogging astral gunk from your system, thereby allowing something new to flow into your life.

- Salt water soaking (especially Epsom salts) has an incredible effect on removing astral gunk from the surface of the human body. You have to lie there at least 20-40 minutes (2 lbs of Epsom salts in a bath tub is plenty) but this should be a regular maintenance treatment for energy healers. An expensive alternative is a therapeutic salt skin scrub at a Spa. Ocean swimming, and standing beneath waterfalls, also give good results.
- Sage/Sweetgrass smudging is a Native American standard clearing technique, and is especially helpful to clear Agnya chakra. Have a helper create the smudge smoke and direct it over all surfaces of your standing, or prone, body. Use a closed room, and then leave it (and the astral gunk) while you go rest in fresh air.
- Tibetan bowls (or similar sustained-toned ringing instruments) can literally chase the lower astral away, as can human choral music. Certain commercial recordings of music sometimes work, but digital sound is never as effective as live music.
- For deep Third Eye clearing use Tratak, aka the Candle-Gazing exercise. Place a candle at eye height. Gently gaze at the flickering flame while keeping your eyes open for as long as you can. Your eyes will tear, and the pulsating candle light will both clear and charge Agnya chakra. Blink only when absolutely necessary. Finish this yogic practice by turning your eyes upwards, aimed towards your forehead, and behind your closed eyelids. Breath and relax, listen to your favorite meditation music, and then go to sleep.

Awesome suggestions. Sweet grass is something I always take on vacation to clear the hotel room of any bad energy. It can make sleeping a lot more relaxing when all of the crazy energy from years of travelers is gone.

The Candle exercise is wonderful especially the last part after gazeing, relaxing and enjoing light focus on the minds eye and bringing in the colors of the candle flame. Then drifting off to sleep.

The Deep Third Eye clearing (Candle-Gazing exercise) is really helpful and enjoying, but when tear comes out from the eyes catch by emotion,. it helps to give a sound sleep.
