A Level One Healer can recognize themselves when:
An intuition arises within you that you are more than your everyday, egoic self: your mind, your feelings, or your physical body. You sense a hidden potential within yourself.
You have one or more life experiences that shake up your conventional (“normal”) world view.
You spontaneously – or by accident – begin to “channel”, or allow something beyond yourself to pass through you. This may be bio-energy (prana), words of awareness or insight for others (mediumship), or counseling for yourself (spirit guidance).
Your training is limited to weekend or evening workshops, but no in-depth training program. You are still looking for an opportunity to dive deeply into the world of energy healing, and of personal development.
You are a beginner in that the world of energy healing is both mysterious and compelling, but you have yet to find your place or your ritual elder (qualified teacher). You are the hero or heroine at the beginning of their quest.
Books appear to find you, inspire you, and send you in search of a qualified teacher. You are drawn to well-known authors of healing and spiritual transformation but only to hear them speak, rather than to interact with them.
You practice a simple method of healing which – although results can be obtained – leave you thirsty for more. You start to long to advance your natural healing skills, and to learn how to help other people more effectively.
