2: The Level Two Healer
A Level Two Healer can recognize themselves when:
You have come to realize that your everyday, consensual reality is only a part of your total soul identity; there are many parts to you.
You have an increasing number of experiences that have led you from one state of consciousness to another; from a normal state to a more awakened state of awareness and functioning. You are also aware of various animal or feeling states, ones that reduce your awareness to reactivity or addictive patterns.
A passive form of “channeling” is being replaced by an intentional or focussed practice which directs prana from your own system into – and through – the auric system of your client. You are able to invoke energy, connect deeply into the client’s auric field, and effect a change in that field.
You have completed and graduated from a 2-4 year certification program in energy healing, and have engaged in at least three years of self-enquiry, via psychotherapy or counseling. This program has given you a foundation in energy healing, as well as a place to learn and practice energy healing skills with others.
You are growing in your awareness as to the presence of non-physical beings around you, and around your client. There is an interaction with them that leads you from idealization of spirit being and towards an appreciation of their differences and agendas.
Spending time in self-reflection has convinced you of the importance of personal development, and has also allowed you to see yourself through the compassionate eyes of a spiritual healer. You accept your humanity even as you strive to be a better person … towards others, and for yourself.
You have discovered that you are teachable: that you can empty yourself of pre-existing concepts and behavior in order to allow new or challenging knowledge to download into your system. Being teachable means that you release your agenda, and are impacted by the agenda of the teacher, but not at the cost of your own integrity.
You are engaged in one or more transformational practices: yoga, martial arts, bodywork such as Rolfing or Continuum, meditation, prayer groups, Qi Gong, dancing, sports, or lifting weights at the gym. You are in the process of actively changing or transforming your physical body.
You have become aware of how you keep people out (defend) or lose yourself in people (merger), as well as some sense of your inner infant (or child) versus your adult self.
